Snowshoeing
Last Friday we left for camp Tracy about 4:00 in the afternoon. When we got there they served us a really nice dinner of meatloaf and salad and other food. Afterwards, we carved at a carving shop and went midnight snow shoeing. (It wasn’t exactly midnight, but it was really dark!) After a fireside with hilarious skits and a retiring of the flag which I will NEVER forget, we went to bed. In the morning we were served breakfast and went cross country skiing (although I spent more time on my bum than on the skis).
Afterwards we went back to the carving shop (I GORED myself with the knife) and were served lunch. Then we left. It was awesome!

Liberty Girls by Janey
In the book a lot of people were losing jobs because of the Great Depression. Then President Obama was talking about the same thing on the radio. In the book there was a garden party with lots of ladies, and then we had a garden party at liberty girls. We had little hearts cakes and little heart candies that were really hot. I was saying, “HOT, HOT, HOT!” and made all the girls laugh. It was fun.
